A Safe Space for Healing
You have tried to find ways to heal from painful experiences or relationships, but it just didn’t work or bring the level of relief that you need.
Or worse, it added a new layer of pain.
You are worthy of healing, whether you feel it right now or not (that’s okay, too). You deserve to feel more empowered in how you are able to show up in your life. Let’s start where you are, even if you don’t know where that is.
Together, we will figure that out, too.
hi! i’m dr. allie
I am a therapist who specializes in healing relationship-based traumas. I work with individuals in early to middle adulthood, who are wanting to feel more relief from painful experiences or relationships.
While not everyone views their painful relationships or experiences as a “trauma,” you can still have traumatic responses that can last until you are able to safely process, feel, and heal from them. It’s my role to create a space for you to explore who you were, what happened (or didn’t happen), who you are now, and how you can experience more freedom to show up as the “you” you want to be.

My Approach
I am dedicated to helping people understand how they make more sense and are more resilient than they realize.
You are doing the best you can with what you have. There are many things that you have learned that have served you and kept you alive.
Together we will create a space for healing, that is personalized and powerful in the moment - but more importantly, a space where you will gain insight, understanding, courage, and endurance that will last for years to come.

OKAY, WILL THIS REALLY WORK?
At this point, you may be thinking, “Okay, all that healing sounds nice, but will therapy really work?”
Well, you are not the first or the last to ask yourself: “Will she really listen? Does she really have the capability to handle all the darkness I’ve been through with care and help me process at my own pace?”
This is the core of my practice and my belief in how people heal and gain back the freedom to make choices about how they show up in their lives.
Let’s find new ways to bring those dark pieces into the light and look at them, talk about them, explore them creatively and deeply, maybe even using humor or profanity, because, damn it! Life can be overwhelming but therapy doesn’t have to be.
You are welcome and belong.
You don’t have to struggle this hard forever. And you sure don’t have to do it alone.

How can I support you?
Therapy is a process, not a product; it is not one-size-fits-all.
We can look at the many ways to approach therapy and you can choose what feels best for you.
I view therapy like a buffet table: you get to choose what you want to try and think will be best for you.
This is an investment in you.
