I'm here to bring what I know about the resilience, trauma, and stress that results from growing up in an environment where you just didn't get what you needed when you needed it.
With a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy and advanced training from International leaders in the trauma field, I specialize in working with clients with various types of traumatic or stress-related experiences. Additionally, I use skills from my training as a Registered Play Therapist and Music Therapist.
All these parts of my training convey my passion and dedication to helping individuals heal from pain and trauma.
My specialties include
I embrace serving individuals of various experiences, cultures, and backgrounds. In doing so, it requires me to recognize that while I have the training and experiences, I will meet you where you are. You are the expert on your experiences.
Cultural humility is a critical foundation of my practice and serving individuals and families who belong to groups that are systematically oppressed. While my experiences will shape how I see the world, it is my commitment to continually seek education and humility.
What I do know is
Black lives matter, all bodies are legal, trans rights are human rights, love knows no gender. and you belong not in spite of, but because of what makes you uniquely you.
